RIVERKEEPER partners with community organizations, government, business representatives, and preservationists to improve access to ecologically diverse and healthy waterways. Together our efforts are affecting hundreds of miles of streams, creeks and rivers, making the region's waterways safer for swimming, fishing and outdoor recreation.

You can help too! If you want to help improve community access to clean, healthy waterways, we need YOU! We need volunteers for our spring and autumn shoreline cleanups, captains for our Riverwatch program, and college interns. We also need you to join RIVERKEEPER! We have many different levels of membership which all help to support our work. Your RIVERKEEPER contribution gives a voice to the river and all those who love her. Your RIVERKEEPER contribution ensures that decisions about our waterfront involve the community - recognizing that you do not have to be an elected official or economic development expert to deserve a voice in how the region's public trust resources are used.

Your RIVERKEEPER contribution will help us to make a difference on the rivers - hundreds of thousands of dollars secured for pollution clean up, tons of trash removed from the shoreline, designs for new boat launches.
